We believe in our people of Aylesbury and Bucks. When they visit us, they can (and they will, I’m sure) show their appreciation to the Artist and Venue Appreciation Fund which means, they can contribute ‘to the pot on the spot’.
Please bring cash.

It is experimental, but we had so much negative response about the ticket prices so we decided together with some of our former and future musician that we need to try how it can work.

We all (venues and musicians) rely so much on You people, we should be in save hands of the
‘Great Community of the Live Music Lovers’.

The adventure-led nomadic duo, jump into the New Year with a nationwide Spring tour, including performances at Bristol Folk Festival and in THE PETRI DISH!

Described as “engagingly clear across a rich variety of styles” (Songlines), Good Habits are a UK alt-folk duo, telling stories and turning heads across the globe. Composed of singer-cellist Bonnie Schwarz and accordionist Pete Shaw, the duo create folk-ish musical tales, with captivating lyrics married with their unique brand of brisk instrumental virtuosity.

During time spent happily stranded in New Zealand because of the pandemic, Good Habits have performed alongside the country’s top acts including Nadia Reid, Ria Hall and Lost Tribe Aotearoa, and won the Purbeck Folk Rising Award 2020. Debut album Going For Broke received glowing press in Songlines and the New Zealand Herald, and their hectic tour schedule has included performances at New Zealand’s largest festivals, including CubaDupa, TSB Festival of Lights, Luminate and countless other independent venues. Upon returning to the UK in October 2021, they will appear at Manchester Folk Festival, Purbeck Valley Folk Festival and many more.

And now celebrating the Spring they make they nationwide tour.

They play in Bristol, in London, at the seaside aaaand THE PETRI DISH!

“Captivating”

Good habits wrap darkly witty lyrics in a delightfully old-world package that crash together the timeless sounds of cellos and accordions with knowing and warm vocals that make you want to wrap this little duo band around you like an old blanket.

Amanda Palmer (Dresden Dolls)

Let`s see what sort of reviews YOU leave after this promising night! We encourage everybody to share their experiences!

You can find more about them on their Website, Facebook, Instagram and Youtube channel.

Petrichor Duo - Anette Burrows and Bob Templeman

Bob Templeman is a fine guitarist, whose style has often been compared to that of Martin Simpson. Bob also plays bouzouki and ukulele.

Annette Burrows sings with sensitivity and passion. Their covers of Blues, Folk, Jazz, Country and Pop span the decades and include some well-known classics.

Since the very first time when they performed at The Petri Dish we appreciate every moment when we have a chance to listen them again.

Unforgettable experience!

Reesha Dyer

She writes about herself:

“I’m Reesha, I sing songs and accompany them on the guitar with dubious proficiency. Some of them are funny, some of them are depressing. It’s a magical mood lottery!”

Let`s listen what she brings that evening… 🙂
