Contribution based event
We believe in our people of Aylesbury and Bucks. When they visit us, they can (and they will, I’m sure) show their appreciation to the Artist and Venue Appreciation Fund which means, they can contribute ‘to the pot on the spot’. Please bring cash.
It is experimental, but we had so much negative response about the ticket prices so we decided together with some of our former and future musician that we need to try how it can work.
We all (venues and musicians) rely so much on You people, we should be in save hands of the
‘Great Community of the Live Music Lovers’.

British Norwegian guitarist and singer Krissy Matthews will bring his trio to the Petri Dish on April the 14th!
He will be performing primarily songs from his latest critically acclaimed Ruf Records release “Pizza Man Blues”, 
a few songs from his back catalogue and a handful of his own uniquely arranged blues and rock fusion covers. For the past 6 years, Krissy has been a full time featured member of iconic German band Hamburg Blues Band where he performs each night along side legends such as Chris Farlowe, Maggie Bell and Arthur Brown.
Krissy has been teaming up with his writing partner Pete Brown for the past 7 years. A man known for his work as Jack Bruce’s partner writing songs for the very well respected and well known 60’s band of Eric Clapton Cream.

In the past years, Krissy and his band have performed all over Europe and Asia, sharing the stage with bands such as Toto, Joe Bonamassa, Gregg Allman, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Joe Satriani, Beth Hart, John Mayall, Jeff Healey and lots more.
Krissy rarely performs in the UK these days. A must see show for the guitar fans!
On drums will be Tim Hillsdon and on bass will be Josh Rigal.

Support band is UNDERSKY
Undersky is an alternative band from Buckinghamshire who formed in early 2020. Undersky’s influences of soul, rock, jazz, blues and pop spanning the decades unite to create a powerful and definitive new sound. Lead singer Francesca Luker was a signed artist at 14, releasing her first EP, Take me Down in 2018 with 82k streams. She regularly performed at music venues and festivals such as The Bedford London, O2 Academy Oxford, The Drawing Room Chesham, before meeting the band last year and exploring a new musical direction.
