20th March 2022 10.30AM

You are cordially invited to attend the inaugural meeting of the Aylesbury User Micro Group (AMUG) on the above date and time.
If you use or are interested in Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Micromite or similar products then this is for you.
The meeting is to gauge the interest within Aylesbury and the larger surrounding area of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hertfordshire. In fact it does not matter where you come from or how far you have come.
The object is for like minded users of Microcontrollers and Microprocessors to get together to swap ideas and discuss projects in a relaxed, friendly, informal and informed atmosphere. If there is enough interest then we intend to form a user group with regular meetings in the future.

We are hoping to have a couple of very informed speakers to give short talks by way of an introduction at this first meeting. Some examples of finished projects will be available to view and ask questions about. You do not need to be an expert, indeed we particularly welcome raw beginners as well as seasoned users.

Invited the following experts for this event:

Phil Boyce

Writer, with monthly articles in Practical Electronics, Britains leading Electronics hobby magazine. An expert in programming and using the Micromite microcontroller.

Jon Silvera

Engineer and programmer. The creator of FUZE Basic which runs on the Raspberry Pi, the current Nintendo Playstation and PC.
Currently holds computer programming classes in his well equipped facilities at Thame.

Both are very knowledgeable and interesting people with a wealth of background experiences.

There is no entry fee and refreshments are available at a small charge.
