Currently based in London, Alex Ho started off as a classical pianist and had his concerto debut when he was 18. His first opportunity to explore jazz music came during his undergraduate years at UCL studying Economics and he was hooked since then. He continued to study classical performance at the Royal Academy and Royal College of Music while maintaining a keen interest in jazz.

Bassist and educator Gary Crosby OBE took Alex under his wing and invited him to join the Gary Crosby Quartet as part of the artist development programme of the educational organisation Tomorrow’s Warriors.

Since then Alex performed in some of London’s most important venues, international festivals and radio broadcasts, including BBC Radio 3 In Tune, Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, the Purcell Room and The Queen Elizabeth Hall at Southbank Centre, PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho, EFG London Jazz Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival, Bristol Jazz & Blues Festival, Marsden Jazz Festival, Brighton Jazz Festival and Guinness Cork Jazz Festival in Ireland. In 2017 Alex collaborated and performed with saxophonist Steve Williamson both in duo and quartet settings. Alex made his debut appearance in Mainland China at Shanghai Concert Hall and JZ Club in Guangzhou in 2018.

“…a truly stellar all-round performance: stop-time chords, neat turnarounds, valid interchanges, nimble adjustments – all jazz life was here.”

Peter Vacher, Jazzwise Magazine

At his arrival on the scene, Nat Steele quickly gained a reputation as a talented musician to watch out for, described by Clark Tracey as “one of the best vibes players this country has ever produced.”

Principally self-taught and following in the style of Milt Jackson, Nat takes a two mallet approach to improvisation, focusing on melodic interpretation over chordal playing.

His “Nat Steele Quartet” is regularly featured at the Late, Late show at Ronnie Scott’s and as a result he has attracted compliments for his playing from the likes of Benny Green, Joe Locke, Jason Marsalis, Harold Mabern and Eric Alexander. He has studied with Mike LeDonne and had the good fortune to sit in with both Benny Green and Wynton Marsalis.

Tom Remon is an aspiring young guitarist on the London Jazz scene. He is an alumnus of the Jazz Warriors development programme and has already played with some of the era’s most esteemed Jazz musicians, including David Lyttle, Jim Mullen, Steve Williamson, and Jonathan Gee. Tom is a Lunaria Records recording artist and already has two records under his own name as well as performing on many others as a sideman.
