Behind an ordinary appearance, alone on stage with his guitars and his sound travel machines, hides a much more complex reality…

A real human Swiss army knife, he composes, plays and loops in real time all the instruments: acoustic and electric guitars, drums, bass, keyboards, beat box, choirs and voices:

– sometimes Mr Wood, a dandy-like acoustic songwriter with folk-pop-progressive melodies.

– sometimes Mr Jekyll, an electric performer with a more electro-chill-rock atmosphere.

After more than 350 concerts and a year of self-confinement in the studio, he is back in 2023 with new tracks distilled one by one that will form 3 E.P.’s, which will themselves form the future album in 2023: the 1st chapter “Smokescreen” released at the end of January 2022 marks the beginning of an intimate road-trip, an electro-acoustic journey in a personal universe where he leaves his own digital imprint.

JEKYLL WOOD transports us to the crossroads of chill-rock and progressive pop, marked by relentless acoustic guitar riffs with sounds reminiscent of Steven Wilson, Ben Howard or John Mayer and a goldsmith’s work on the arrangements and sound textures that are now his signature.
